A few excellent discoveries with this project:

1. Those endsheets! A literal map of London! Hollander’s continues to be a treasure trove of great decorative papers, and this was no exception.
2. I got to have more fun with the embossing tool while crafting the Chief Inspector insignia on the cover (though if I had to do it over again, I’d up the pressure setting to make the details clearer).
3. The New Scotland Yard photo on the title page came from Wikimedia, of all places; it’s an unexpected treasure trove of Creative Commons images, so don’t forget to check there if you’re looking for design elements.
